Mr. D.J. Hitchcock, 339, Roding Lane, Woodford Green,

Essex, has been appointed to the Colonial Service as a Senior

Flying Control Officer in the Gold Coast.

Mr. Hitchcock, who held several commercial appointments

before the war, served as an officer of the Royal Air Force

Volunteer Reserve and has been employed on flying control

dutios.
